    if you run vinegar through the machine, make sure you run at least one full bucket of rinse water through it when you are all done. the vinegar will corrode parts of the pump. i learned this the hard ways ($63 repair bill) but you can spray it down with a squirt bottle and suck it up and that harms nothing.
