Maps and Globes
I love old maps and globes for my home.
I love this. Now thinking of how I can find a fixture I could do something similar with. If I ever get my little office/artist studio one day would love to do something similar maybe with photos that inspire me, bits of old textiles, pieces of broken costume jewelry attatched or hanging down. Would be my inspiration chandelier instead of inspiration board :)

Ok this has soo much potential. You want to incorporate Middle Earth into that theme? This is a way we could do it. Middle earth maps as the backdrop of bookshelves. Easy to do. Or you could pull together any Tolkien text or quotes and we could type it up in a LOTR font, print it and mod podge it into the backdrop. Maybe stain the paper or print it on special paper.
love the map for a bookcase backing and the light fixture globe installed inside the case.

It's like this person knows about my obsession! Wrap unused shoe boxes and other boxes in old maps. Use them to store seasonal items, extension cords, light bulbs, batteries, craft supplies, etc. Put them on your shelves or end tables, so they look like fancy decor. No one will know they're functional. :)
