September, Anti-Bullying. Try lesson idea: make a paper doll, sit in a circle and have each kid make a crease in the paper doll and pretend to be one of the bullies in the story. Talk about how each word makes a fold that can't be erased. End the lesson with each child saying something kind about the person on their left.
Before you Speak... Think! :)
Great read for parents and teachers to help children learn the value of being respectful by listening and waiting for their turn to speak. The book also teaches children a witty technique to hold on to their thoughts for sharing at an appropriate time. Have fun reading!
Use for rewards? The numbers are magnetic. Kids pick one and get that reward :)
