"For lesson on how current choices affect us in the future"-- I am not a fan of candy-based lessons, but I know they work and are cheap. If done sparingly, I guess I'm ok. This one is great for "Begin with the End in Mind"

Objectives Board This is the first year I have used an daily agenda. I stole the circular pattern from my teaching teammate... She's awesome!. I combined it with the learning objectives... so its an objective agenda board! Thats a mouthful! I write the objectives in "kid friendly language" and box or underline important concepts and words. It's clear and easy and everyone knows what we are doing! ...So simple... Its a keeper!

We do a variation of this at camp. It is especially useful because I do not need ti interrupt class time by taking a question. I can simply nod or shake my head at that student so he or she knows if what he/she is asking for is appropriate.
