Verona, Italy - Buried deep in Italy, in a little town called Verona, there is a voluntary group of love-letter answering secretaries that promote the legend of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet by responding to thousands of letters pouring in from every country. They offer advice, support, and a listening ear for anyone who needs to talk about love. Here you see letters/posted on a wall.
The Marble Caves of Patagonia, Chile, are beautiful vibrant blue caverns, partially submerged in the equally stunning turquoise waters of Carrera Lake. The lake itself is on the border of Argentina and Chile, with the caves located on the Chilean side. The caves are comprised of three main caverns: the Chapel (La Capilla), the Cathedral (El Catedral), and the Cave (La Cueva). Visitors to the caves can explore them in a small boat or kayak, but only when Carrera Lake’s waters are calm and gentle.

Kefalonia, Greece in the Ionian Sea where "Captain Corelli’s Mandolin" was filmed. Was, and still is, an old-fashioned, unspoiled Greek island w/ romantic vistas. Remains pretty & pristine lacking major tourism, many of its buildings are new (result of serious quake in 1953). Visitors tend to rent villas high in the hills 2 catch cooling breezes & use rental cars to explore the winding roads & catch the many-miles-away vistas. Nightlife revolves around local tavernas - fun, not overly raucous.
