How to Clean Dirty Blinds. So simple.

in case i haven't pinned before???? Magic Carpet Cleaner ;-) Baking soda, vinegar, dishwashing liquid & warm water!!

MAGIC! I've been doing this all over my carpet, it works on old stains, new stains-- basically EVERYTHING!

Mix together 1/4 cup of canola/olive oil and 3/4 cup vinegar to repair damaged wood. Dip a rag in it and simply wipe.

Homemade Granite Cleaner, just three ingredients you probably already have!

ONLY use this and it leaves floor spotless. (Heavy duty floor cleaner recipe: ¼ cup white vinegar 1 tablespoon liquid dish soap ¼ cup baking soda 2 gallons tap water, very warm.) It leaves everything smelling amazing.

Place a dishwasher-safe cup filled with plain white vinegar or bleach and water on the top rack of the dishwasher. Using the hottest water available, run the dishwasher through a cycle. The vinegar will help to wash away the loose, greasy grime, sanitizes, and helps remove the musty odor. Next, sprinkle a cupful of baking soda around the bottom of the tub and run it through a short cycle. The baking soda will help freshen and removing stains.... good to do every 6 mths

Keep one in the shower filled with a mixture of half vinegar and half Dawn dishsoap. Use it to wipe down the shower while you are in there and your shower will always be clean. Must try this!

This is a good schedule to follow

Q: What is the best way to season and care for cast iron? How should I wash it without removing the seasoning?

Another pinner says: Hot Vinegar and Dawn Soap! Seriously, I saw this on Pinterest and decided to try it on my white shower tile...WOW! 1 cup of HOT Vinegar (microwave 1-2 min) and 1 cup of blue DAWN liquid soap. Shake into bottle and creates a gel that is OUT OF THIS WORLD!

Will take the stains out of almost ANYTHING...even if it is an old one. REALLY WORKS!! 2 part hydrogen peroxide to 1 part Dawn ( original blue)

Jewelry Cleaner from Food.com: This saves money and is safe for you and the environment. Going to try this for sure.

Good to remember: lemon, rosemary and vanilla home deodorizer - let simmer all day, adding water when needed. Williams Sonoma store smell!

Dry erase marker on the washer for clothes that are inside that shouldn't be dried! So smart!!

Homemade Dishwasher Detergent 1 Cup of Borax 1 Cup Baking Soda (I used Washing Soda) 1/2 Cup Kosher Salt 1/2 Cup Citric Acid (You can purchase "Fresh Fruit" in the canning isle. It is a produce protector or you can puchase 15 packets of lemon Kool-aid, the unsweetened kind, and that works as well.) Mix all ingredients in a container and voila! dshwasher detergent! Use 1 Tbsp per load PLUS add some vinegar to the rinse aid portion of your dishwasher (this keeps the plastic from getting a cloudy look) and wash away!

Homemade Febreeze: 1/8 Cup of Your Favorite Fabric Softener (preferably something natural - Mrs. Meyers) 2 Tablespoons Baking Soda Hot Tap Water - To Fill the Bottle to the Top

Smart Idea: Heat a bowl of water and vinegar for 5 minutes in the microwave, the steam will dissolve stuck on stains. Simply wipe off.
