Every winter I battle skin so dry it cracks and bleeds. A few years ago my grandmother gave me homemade lotion, which I love. It's about to run out, but now I have this recipe! This best part is, you can make it from dollar store materials and stuff you already have at home! I can not wait to try this one!

DIY Spinner: Turn a paper-towel holder into a rotating station by first sliding pieces of sturdy cardstock into 8.5" x 11" sheet protectors (for added stability) and then inserting your stickers/pictures/whatever. Once your page protectors are loaded, attach them together with binder clips, and slide those clips around the center of your paper-towel holder.

Afghan Pattern As promised, here is the pattern for the afghan. It's pretty easy if you know how to crochet. If you don't, and you want to learn how, there's TONS of good videos on You Tube, so go buy some yarn and a hook, and get goin'! Then come back, and use this pattern to make an afghan! Row 1: ch 122 Row 2: hdc in 3rd st from hook, hdc in every st to end of the row. Row 3: ch. 1, sc in first st., skip 2 st's, then make 5 dc's in next st, skip 2 st's, sc in next st, repeat until
