Thinking of you and Josie, @Cassie Walling---Party craft: stick horses. Here is a horse head template for making and decorating stick horses. Can use yardsticks, empty gift wrap rolls, or wooden dowels for the stick. Cut out two heads, decorate, add yarn mane, stuff with crumpled paper, staple, add stick, viola! Now the kids are ready for stick horse races!

Turkey Hunt: Wrote this on the chalkboard in my classroom. Then I cut out turkey prints & scattered feathers & fall silk leaves throughout the room and down the hallways of our building. I hid a stuffed turkey puppet at the end of the trail and gave my class a paper turkey finder (cutout looking glass). We used these to look for clues & searched for the turkey. After we were all done the kids decorated their turkey finders & took pictures with the turkey.

Cute for door decorations
