Work for Hire is optional, but since my kids don't receive an allowance and I don't buy them toys, they are always clamoring to make a little money. I'm encouraging work ethic while getting my home clean.
Like this better than kids getting paid for regular chores. And not having to remind them to do it, whichever kid wants the money will do it.
