Truth is, I'll never know all there is to know about you just as you will never know all there is to know about me. Humans are by nature too complicated to be understood fully. "I Do Not Love You" By Pablo Neruda. ..... I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you straightforwardly, without complexities or pride; So I love you because I know no other way than this: where I does not exist, nor you, so close that your hand on my chest is my hand, so close that your eyes close as I fall asleep....
Posing with Grant Wood’s American Gothic, one of the most famed U.S. paintings of its generation, are the models: Nan Wood Graham, the painter’s sister, wife of an oil-station operator, and Dr. B.H. McKeeby, their dentist. The models sat separately for the painting and never stood in front of the house. The photo occasion is the first showing of the painting in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where Wood painted it in 1930.
