The UK & Ireland are also very unlikely to escape an inevitable cold and rather snowy winter throughout 2014/15 - due to the period of low solar activity that we currently reside in and how this intrinsically alters other factors that weather models don't consider (full winter 2014/15 forecast inc major snow risk dates) @ www.exactaweather...

Any major ice melt, which the 'volcanic winter' report from 22nd August stated as 'likely' @ www.exactaweather... could also cause a potential increase in precipitation as unusually heavy snowfall in addition to ocean changes throughout this winter (similar to 2010). Lying snow on the ground for prolonged periods of time also has an albedo effect as it is highly reflective, and directs sunlight back into space.

Latest GFS runs continue to show dominant high pressure building across the UK & Ireland throughout this weekend and into next week (some widespread warm to very hot weather) - as indicated in our 14th August update + 5 month ahead autumn forecast @ www.exactaweather...
