Anne Rice

The Vampire Chronicles is a novel series by Anne Rice that revolves around the fictional character Lestat de Lioncourt, a French nobleman turned into a vampire in the 18th century. As of November 2008, The Vampire Chronicles had sold 80 million copies worldwide. Books from The Vampire Chronicles were the subject of two film adaptations, Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles in 1994, and Queen of the Damned in 2002. #book #boxset

The Feast of All Saints - Anne Rice. A historical rather than supernatural novel. Set in New Orleans in the 1800s within the Free People of Color culture.

The Queen of the Damned is an adaptation of one of Anne Rice's successful vampire books that stars Aaliyah, who unfortunately died from plane crash shortly after the filming of this movie. Unfortunately, the movie is just decent, which is a disappointment, specially after such a success of The Interview with a Vampire. I think a better casting may have brought up the level of this movie.

Anne Rice's best-selling romantic horror tale about the origins of a centuries-old vampire inspired this popular, atmospheric chiller. One of director Neil Jordan's major Hollywood productions, the film stays close to its source material, retaining the frame of a young reporter (Christian Slater) interviewing a man who claims to be a vampire.
