Crochet Square Patterns

I would take up crochet to make this. Love the circle/square pattern, love the old world natural colours and love the hand spun texture of the wool.

❋ Crochet Flowers.. Designs, ideas, how to's and just great pictures. Poinsettia in square ~ free pattern

Circle in a square - Redheart free pattern. A cool thing about the pattern: each square after the first are joined in the final row: no sewing squares together at the end! Always wanted to do this blanket# redheartyarn

Domestic Bliss Squared: Lacy Scalloped Crochet Boot Cuffs (a free pattern). CUTE CUTE CUTE!! And says a beginner crocheter can pull em off. Handy!

Nancy, you can use whatever size you want, depending on how large you want your blanket to turn out. I'd suggest making a few different sized grannies as testers, and then measure them and multiply by the number of squares (width and length) to see how large the finished product would be. Good luck!
