before and after Stereo cabinet redo. its not totally finished, but just about!
Vintage stereo cabinet redo. I striped the record player, radio and speakers, then painted in van Gogh Fossil Paint inside and out, waxed in French caffeine and natural wax, added two glass knobs, fabric where the speakers use to be and two baskets. It made this old cabinet headed for the trash into something we can use in today's world.
Made from Home Depot $11 crates. Might be good near the window to balance the stereo cabinet? I think they're easy to stain.

Here's a project I just finished - an old 80s stereo console that had an old FM radio, 8-track tape player and turntable. I gutted the unit, painted it a gun-metal gray, and then crackled with a beige top-coat. It's my new media cabinet!!

Cabinet similar to my old stereo cabinet. Remove side doors and add wallpaper to make interesting.
