I like wood crates being used in this way. . . but definitely over the whole re-claimed wood thing.

Little Nuffield Cafe is a coffee bar and lunchbox shop tucked into a small storefront in Auckland, NZ. I love this idea, these crates from the local craft store, wood glue, nails, a little burn technique and stain! I would do a whole bookcase in love with the look
