Ideas I'd Like To Do

Give to your husband's parents on your wedding day.

Raising Grateful Kids in an Entitled World - Beautiful, Powerful, Thought-raising blog. I'll hold this one in my heart for awhile.

I have seen these all over, but this one is the best, simply because of the saying on the bottom. It makes this piece!

I have got to do this while the kids are still little!

Indoor Tulips . . . Step 1 - Fill a glass container about 1/3 of the way with glass marbles or decorative rocks... Step 2 - Set the tulip bulb on top of the marbles or stones; pointed end UP. Add a few more marbles or rocks so that the tulip bulb is surrounded but not covered (think support). . .Step 3 - Pour fresh water into the container. The water shouldn't touch the bulb, but it should be very close, so that the roots will grow in and vola tulips inside! Like my amaryllis!

Car seat cooler.... Leave it in the carseat when you spend a hot day at the zoo etc and your child's seat is nice a cool when you come back. (good DIY baby shower gift)

First We Had Each Other, Then We Had You, Now We Have Everything. Hand painted wood sign

I AM SO DOING THIS! "Following my high school graduation ceremony my dad handed me a bag with a copy of Oh the Places You’ll Go, by Doctor Seuss inside. I open it up and on the first page I see a short paragraph written by none other than my kindergarten teacher. My dad tells me “Every year, for the past 13 years, since the day you started kindergarten I’ve gotten every teacher, coach, and principal to write a little something about you inside this book." oh parents, do this!

I like the shelf... FREE Printable Letter Banners at! Print a banner for any holiday, party or room for FREE!!! LOVE these!!

Great perspective---I should put this in my laundry room!

Pinterest Challenge: DIY Christmas Gifts This is such a cute idea. It's a daily calendar that can be reused each year and gets better the longer you use it. Each day you write the year and something that happened that day like, "(Child's name) took her first steps." I imagine the first year wouldn't be as fun, but imagine how neat it would be in 10 years

Thanks to pinterest our cats have an awesome new liter box with graphite duct tape! We made 2 of these, they are bigger and cheaper than the covered boxes you can buy!

Did you cats really take well to this idea? I need to something like this for our cats, they make a mess of the bathroom with the liter!

Hang baskets on wall of family room for blankets, remotes, and general clutter. Inspired by ikea. This is brilliant!

Frame all your wedding stuff ... good idea.
