Katherine Hepburn in the kitchen of her home in Old Saybrook, CT (one of my favorite towns). The house was built in the late 1930's although the waterfront land had been in the Hepburn family since 1913. Sold and extensively remodeled after her death.

1930's kitchen - This pretty 1930 kitchen appeared in House & Garden magazine. Crane was advertising their Corwith model sink. We were particularly smitten with the classic yellow and bright navy blue color scheme with green and gray accents.

30's kitchen - again white cabinets, big checkerboard linolium, apron front enamel sink.

White cabinets again with the rounded open shelving in corners and white enamal sink. 1940's kitchen.
