If you have not done this yet, you need to. Simply warm up the rocks in the oven (I did 220 for 10 minutes), then put them on a stack of newspapers (or something else you don't care if it gets crayon in it) and let the little ones go to town. Just remind them it is hot. I have done it with 2 1/2 year olds with no problem. My little lady often brings in rocks for me to "cook" so she can paint them
Great gift idea for a dad :-)
Play-doh lid bird feeders-Natalia and I did this today, and she LOVED it!!! We did most of the playdoh ones, but tomorrow we're going to do more playdoh lids+ pine cone bird feeders, then we'll hang them on her tree!-super fun and the lids are easy for little hands-we also used crisco in place of peanut butter since she's allergic-worked great!!!!!!
Bird feeders made from playdoh lids. Easy for the kids to do!
Old book spines glued to a box. Great idea for a hidden bookshelf storage. Love this idea!
