1 part dawn dishwashing liquid mixed with two parts HYDROGEN PEROXIDE + PLUS added some baking soda (of course!) for the extra scrubbing element...and I used a small laundry brush to work the whole concoction into the stain for a few minutes. After that I walked away and let the whole thing sit there for an hour or so and then laundered as usual.

Lamp Redo! Spray-paint the base (the new color is "acorn"). Use a hot glue gun to glue fabric around the old shade. I found this colorful blue/green fabric on clearance at Jo Anns.
DIY Bookends: Inexpensive homemade bookends. Cover simple plastic or metal L-shaped bookends in attractive paper (the wrapping paper pictured is from the dollar store). Paint wooden letters a complimentary color and glue to the wrapping paper. Ta-Da! #bookends #DIYBookends
DIY: Belt Organizer from a Wire Rack. All you need is a wire rack, clothespins, spray paint, a fabric scrap and monkey hooks (or another type of picture hanger). I had everything but the clothespins in my house, and I found those at the dollar store. My total cost came to one dollar! #DIY #belt #beltorganizer
