Stephen F. Austin, Father of the Texas Rangers, Hall of Fame inductee

You can print a Kinder friendly book about Jose Navarro and a song about Stephen F. Austin on my blog!

Santa Barbara Snowman: This activity was easy-peasy and made a neat and funny craft. Living in sunny Southern California, we don’t really have opportunities to make snowmen, so using a simple pre-printed sheet with the outline of a puddle and an overturned paper bowl the kids made their own melty, sunshine snowmen. They put the usual accessories on, with the exception of the sunglasses, and then wrote a sentence about where their snowman should move to or what happened to him. Easy.

Reindeer Portraits- step by step drawing

too cute! things like this make me miss being a teacher!! Kids look for random acts of kindness to fill the Grinch with love. Whenever they see someone doing something nice for someone else, the person doing the kind deed gets to put a heart on the Grinch. If we can fill the Grinch with hearts, we get to have a Grinch Christmas Party the day before Christmas Break! ... this is such a good idea!!
