    This potato soup was pretty good and super easy. I made it stove top - sauteed onions in a touch of butter. Added a bit of milk to thin it out as it cooked.

Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta Need: 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips; 4 oz linguine, cooked al dente; 2 tsp cajun seasoning; 2 tbsp butter; 1 thinly sliced green onion; 1 -2 c. heavy whipping cream; 2 tbsp chopped sun-dried tomatoes; 1/4 tsp salt; 1/4 tsp dried basil; 1/8 tsp ground black pepper; 1/8 tsp garlic powder; 1/4 c. grated parmesan cheese.

    Made on 1/31/14. Really good. I just used a Costco Rotisserie chicken and took the breast meat out and cut it into chunks in the sauce. Then I added a can of mushroom pieces. I used 1 cup heavy cream and 1 cup whole milk. I also added a little Emeril's Essence to the sauce. Oh, and I thickened the sauce with a little flour because it seemed too thin.

    These were good, but not quite as good as the other pumpkin cookie recipes I have. Probably won't make again.

    Biscuits were really good and pretty moist for a biscuit. Gravy was just, eh. Pretty good but nothing spectacular.

    Very good. Everyone liked pretty much. A definite make again.

CORN DOG MUFFINS -makes 24 1 cup cornmeal 1 cup whole wheat flour 1 t. baking powder 1 t. salt 2 eggs 2 T. honey ¼ cup melted butter 1 cup buttermilk 8 hotdogs Stir together dry ingredients. Add eggs, honey, butter and buttermilk. Stir until just mixed. Spoon batter into 12 muffin baking cups. Place third of a hot dog in each cup. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.

    Not worth it. Corn muffin mix around the dog wasn't good. Kids didn't even like it.

Revolutionary Mac & Cheese -- the pasta is cooked in the milk, which forms the base for the sauce. No water, no draining... 2 cup pasta, 2 cup milk, 1 cup cheese

    Not great. Eh. I much prefer my own Mac and cheese recipe.

Pan-Seared Chicken with Balsamic Cream Sauce, Mushrooms and Onions

Crockpot Lemon Chicken - Put cube of butter in bottom of crock pot. Lay chicken in pot. Sprinkle Italian dressing packet over chicken, drizzle with lemon juice, pop the lid on. Cook on High 4-5 hours, or Low 6-8 hours.

    This would have been great with rice, BUT I did low for hours and it was very dry. Should have checked it sooner. Might make again, but definitely won't cook as long. Keep an eye on this one.

    I thought this recipe would be awesome. It looks awesome. When I got to the point in the recipe where you add a can of cream of mushroom soup, I almost didn't do it. But then I figured, without it, I would have to make it into an alfredo sauce and it would totally change the recipe. I should have listened to my inner voice. This was okay, but not that great. I won't be making it again. Instead, I think I will just add fresh mushrooms to my own chicken alfredo recipe. The end.

Sun Dried Tomato Chicken - this dish blew my mind!

    Really good. Sort of a lighter cream sauce. The sun dried tomatoes made it taste like summer. Will make again.

! Dump 1 envelope of taco seasoning, 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts & a jar of salsa in the crockpot, stir and cook on high(4-6 hrs.) or low(6-8 hrs.) Should be able to shred with a fork. Place meat mixture in tortillas and top with your favorite toppings!

    Watched this for a lesson on rocks/geology. Pretty good. Thought his description of sedimentary rocks was just ok. Kids liked it. Especially the metamorphic part.
