If I come down with "teacher voice" or laryngitis anyway: 1. avoid singing/talking as much as possible. 2. avoid lozenges with menthol (Hall's Breezers are an awesome alternative!) 3. no dehydrating medication (i.e. antihistamines) 4. drink plain water or hot tea with lemon & honey.
