The kick off to Girl Scout Week is Girl Scout Sunday. This year it's March 9th!

Girl Scout Week celebrates all things Girl Scouts, and includes Girl Scout Sunday and Girl Scout Sabbath, where girls can be recognized as a Girl Scout. If a place of worship is the group sponsor, girls may perform a service, such as greeting, ushering or doing a flag ceremony. These days can also be a time when girls explore other faiths and earn their My Promise My Faith Award.

How To Make Bridge for Girl Scout Bridging Ceremony

Girl Scout Week is coming up fast! "Girl Scout Sunday and Girl Scout Sabbath give girls an opportunity to attend their local place of worship and be recognized as a Girl Scout. Girls are encouraged to wear their uniforms and perform a service such as greeting, ushering or doing a flag ceremony. This week can also be a time when girls learn more about other faiths." - from Girl Scouts River Valleys
