Cream color pottery handled jug, impressed on shoulder, John Burger. / Rochester, washed with cobalt blue; number 2 above stylized flower and leaf decoration. The deep blue and well executed decoration is typical of Burgers production. This two-gallon example stands at 14 and is in fine original condition with only a glaze spider on left side near base.
