Ideas.. Also found: DON'T FORGET THE GRANDCHILDREN! If your parents have any grandchildren, have them put on a little show for them, if they're old enough. You might want to sit down with them and write a story or poem called "I'm glad Grandma and Grandpa got married because..." Have the children fill in the blanks, write it down for them, and practice with them. It will be a precious moment in the celebration. Another cute thing that you could do is, "I know Grandma and Grandpa love each other because..." You could even do your own version of Kids Say the Darndest Things by playing host to the grandchildren, and asking them questions...but be warned that sometimes they come out with their own brand of humor and honesty at the entirely wrong time! You could ask questions like, "How do you think Grandma and Grandpa met?" "What does Grandma do when she gets mad at Grandpa?" Have fun with it...and be sure to include the story of how they got together, I'm sure it is one that your parents love to tell. :-)
