Laundry Stain Remover Original recipe calls for 1 cup water and 1 cup vinegar, but in the comments I learned that the vinegar works against the detergent and ammonia, so substituted another cup of water for the vinegar. 2 cups water 1 cup ammonia 1 cup Era laundry detergent

Get Rid Of Ants, Fast, The Non-Toxic Way I like this recipe because it makes a small amount which is all that is needed. I microwave in a mug 22 sec., stir and soak cotton balls in it. Soaked balls store well in an airtight jar.

Make root beer. Easy recipe in a 2-liter bottle.

Lemon-Zucchini Loaf with Lemon Glaze Makes one 9×5″ loaf 2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 eggs 1/2 cup canola oil 2/3 cup sugar 1/2 cup buttermilk Juice of 1 lemon (or 2 Tablespoons lemon juice) Zest of 1 lemon 1 cup grated zucchini Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour a 9×5″ loaf pan; set aside. Pour batter into pan and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. LEMON GLAZE 1 cup powdered sugar Juice of 1 lemon (or 2 T lemon juice)

Super Laundry Sauce I love it! Makes me smile :) Have made 3 batches so far. If not using jars, you want to have 6 1/2 cups after adding the last bit of water. If split between 2 jars, add 1/2 cup water to each jar.

Ginger Spice Decoction 40 whole cloves 20 bay leaves (MUST be Laurus nobilis - any others are not considered safe to consume) 2 cinnamon sticks (about 3-4 inches long each) 1 ginger root (about 4-5 inches long - longer if thin, shorter if fat) 4-5 quarts water Tried it, loved it! I don't even drink tea or coffee, but this I really like :)

Homemade Deodorant Recipe I made it without the essential oil and it did not stop the stink. Added Tea Tree oil, only 5 drops, but it smelled like turpentine. Actually threw it out and made a new batch with 1 drop. Was too hard for my liking, so added just a bit of olive oil to it. Will definitely be trying a different essential oil next time.

try mixing lavender oil with the tea tree (one of my favs)... just a few drops of both, depending on the amount of deodorant. A Good test of one drop of each on a teaspoon will help not ruin a batch of deodorant. The scent will be stronger but you'll have an idea.

P.S. I add oilive oil like you do.

Crispy Oven-Baked Bacon I tried it with a cold oven and a hot oven, liked it both ways. Do NOT bake on a flat sheet, it must have sides to contain the grease! I wrapped the slices in wax paper and stored in a gallon ziploc in the freezer, ready to pull out and heat up in the breakfast pan or crumble into recipes. Love it and will do it this way from now on! 400 degrees. 17 min. in cold oven, 13 in hot.
