Bistro Bella Vita- Located close to the Van Andel Area, this restaurant features Mediterranean Country Cuisine made from scratch with as many local ingredients as possible. Recommendation: Try their paella, pizza and seafood! Note: They also offer a specialty gluten free menu, as well as prepare custom dishes for those who are lactose intolerant, vegetarian and vegan!

Yesterdog- Yesterdog has won Grand Rapids Magazine's Best Hotdog category every year since 1991, the year hotdogs were included in the poll. It has also been awarded the Gold Townie Award for Best Hotdog many times as well. Trivia- The restaurant was represented on the big screen as "Dog Years" that appeared on the teen comedy film: American Pie. Much of the film is based on the writer's days here in West Michigan!
