Buy plate from Dollar Store, write on it with a Sharpie marker, bake at 150 for 30 minutes and it is permanent! Just add cookies and it is a great Christmas gift for teachers and neighbors! Pretty simple design.

AWESOME! description from baker: I just used box white cake mixes - 10 of them that I bought on sale. I had 6 6x6 cake pans and I mixed and baked 2 cake mixes at a time, divided them into 6 bowls and mixed in Wilton gel food coloring bought at JoAnns. It's not that hard to do. The hardest part was actually mixing all the icing up (it was a cream cheese frosting) - I had to do it in 4 batches because it just wouldn't all fit in my KitchenAid (powdered sugar everywhere).

My mom made these for us when we were little and I always thought they were the coolest Easter baskets! I"m thinking of making Allison one for Easter...but wondering how quickly she would destroy it LOL

My grandma taught me this many years ago. Refreshing towels I use this trick all the time since I noticed my towels smelling funky. It works! - Over time, towels build up detergent and fabric softener, leaving them unable to absorb as much water and smelly. Recharge them by washing them once with hot water and 1cup vinegar, then a 2nd time with hot water and half cup baking soda. This strips the residue and leaves them fresh and able to absorb more water again. Works like a charm!

Birth shadow box - Such a good idea! All those little pieces are hard to keep up with!
