Finding Time to Create- I think this might be my new favorite site for Silhouette projects. Krafting Kelly, the blog owner, shares lots of great ideas and very detailed tutorials on using the Silhouette. The blog is very well written and the projects are creative, fun and useful. She also teaches online Silhouette classes!

DIY bow stiffener: Mix equal parts of Sta-Flo liquid starch and water into a spray bottle. Spray your bows generously, and use a hairdryer on the hottest setting to blow dry.If you like your bows even stiffer, increase your starch and decrease your water when mixing together, and vice versa. You can re-spray as needed and you will not ruin your ribbon.
