A 1000 year old Viking tool chest. It was lost by craftsman as he travelled across lake Mästermyr on the island of Gotland, Sweden. The chest was rediscovered in 1936 at the bottom of the former lake, which had since turned into a bog. There are axes, hammers, tongs, punches, plate shears, saw blades, files, rasps, drills, chisels, knives, awls and whetstones among the 200 objects found in the chest.

Thomas Culpeper, a cousin of Katherine Howard's, was believed to have had an intimate affair with her while she was still a lady in waiting. At the time of Katherine's arrest, Culpeper held a position as gentlemen to the King's Privy Chamber. Culpeper was responsible for the more intimate needs of the king's, needs such as dressing/undressing, and he even slept at the foot of the king's bed on many occasions, in order to better offer service to his highness at any hour.
