Doin' it right via readin'.
Lionel Shriver's novel...reading it now, excellent!
The Post-Birthday World
Shogun by James Clavell. Just finished it. It was terrific, but I'm groaning inwardly, since he wrote an entire series about Asia that'll probably haunt me if I don't read them all.
Her Fearful Symmetry by Audrey Niffenegger. Not super-wowwed. Kinda fell flat, and I'd heard it was supposed to be like straight-up horror, so my expectations were in the wrong place.
Larry Niven & Jerry Pournelle - The Mote in God's Eye. Meh. I wasn't that enthralled.
Such a great book. Very funny, totally feasible, wonderfully illustrated. Getting it for my 25-year-old self.
The Day the Crayons Quit
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo - Stieg Larsson. Long Live Lisbeth
you'll probably need to read this alongside a dictionary.
A Song of Ice and Fire: 5 and counting... AWESOME SERIES
Isabel Allende, absolutely breath taking!!!
Diana Wynne Jones: El castillo ambulante (a.k.a. Howl's Moving Castle). Just found out she died. Sad! I wish I could go through the color door, detour through the 80's, and meet her eminence.
White Noise - Don Delillo
Neverending Story Sketchbook / Diary by GeekifyInc on Etsy, $50.95 - great idea for a baby book / nursery decoration!!!
