MC Escher Eye Drawing...I loved drawing eyes in Art Class when I was younger!

Art Projects for Kids: M.C. Escher Eye Drawing

My Art 2 Class did the Magritte Eyes. I had them come up with 5 ideas, then pick 2 of the 5 to complete in full color. After that they all voted on each others with tally marks for 1 of the final 2. Finally they got to complete the eye voted on by the class. I talked about illustrators doing their best, trying to apply for a job... art directors sometimes choosing the idea you don't like... etc. It was a process of elimination. Quick and easy.

Chalk Pastel Lolipops. I use this project to teach shading and value of a round object to my Art I students. This is so easy I'm sure it could be used for elementary as well.

I drew this eye reflection using sharpies, color pencils and crayons for my elementary students as an example. Cardinal football.
