Grand Prize Winning Board: My Better Homes and Gardens Dream Home.
Modern. Color. Texture. I think these three things sum up my style. I'm most attracted to modern interiors that still maintain a sense of comfort, it is your living space after all! Bright pops of colors always add warmth and character to more neutral textured background pieces. Pick me!
The light blue mini glass subway tile makes this bathroom looks so clean and relaxing. I could take a soak in the tub everyday admiring the lovely, lovely Nelson pendant. The turquoise stool completes the look.
Love the modern and unique details of this entry, especially the reclaimed wood shelf. I'm always a sucker for a bouquet of craspedia and prints of Queen Anne's Lace... two of my very favorite flowers!
The perfect studio -- they say people are more creative when you have views overlooking nature, I think I could be pretty creative in this space with the bright open windows. I love the open, airiness of this room with the white palette and industrial workspace details.
This kitchen has real style with the very modern cabinets combined with the traditional patterns of the backsplash and rug. I would love to have a lighted walk-in pantry! Or the blue ombre pot...
The orange accent adds the perfect amount of whimsy, brightness and architectural flair. It really brings the room to life!
Go With the Flow - office "Designer Heather Hardt used a long stretch of wall in an L-shape room to define a home office for this family. She used wall space for storage and added nature-themed accents to soften. Furnishings and storage components were fashioned from natural wovens, woods, and leathers. Decorative accents pop in a warm palette of green, orange, and raspberry."
I adore the books arranged by color. The vintage globes provide great repetition of color and shape and a great feature.
Gray Dreams--I am using this as the inspiration for my sewing room/guest bedroom. I have a dark cherry daybed covered with a toile like duvet. I am painting the walls a light grey with bright white trim. A black/grey/white print single panel window treatment. I have also added a pop of apple green in the 2 round throw rugs and a throw pillow.
This was originally positioned as a kids bedroom. I don't know, I'm rather smitten with the deep colors, the textures and patterns from the bedding and the metal accents. Swoon.
Clean. Crisp. Modern. I love the modern tub and shower combined with the over-sized floor and wall tiles.
I've always loved this kitchen. The open kitchen shelves, perfect styling and great colors are a lovely touch. I love, love, love the mini grey subway tiles.
