Yikes. 2 cups (8 oz) of dry pasta is enough for a smaller batch (about 4 cups cooked) Velveeta (bad, I know, but oh, so good!) has bags of shreds now. Use about 3/4 cup in place of the slices. Adjust the other ingredients down if using half the pasta called for.
