Dear future me: if you two ever build a house together, carve your names into the wood floor

An entry that is light, functional, and welcoming...perfect! I love the built-in bench for not only storage but also for sitting and relaxing!

Front door of the Peppermill Plan 1034 - Wrapping a brick exterior with porches creates a home that showcases southern charm. The foyer and great room have two-story ceilings, and a tray ceiling tops the master bedroom. A bay expands the breakfast nook, while French doors access the rear porch. The living room/study and bonus room add flexibility. #Country #Brick #Porch

Designer Dilemma

Farrow and Ball Light Grey Kate Forman says, 'This is great on exterior woodwork particularly, or as seen here on paneling. This is a colour which would work well in a study or a dark dining room also.' Modern Country Style blog: Kate Forman's 8 Favourite Farrow and Ball paints

How to attach a headboard...yes i totally need this for when i make our headboard:)

Blue Stone is AWESOME! The Arbor-look is be-fitting and the timeless lamps and brickwork all say that this house is anything but a trendy tan box in 'status-symbol land.' I also like that it looks a lot like our house with two gables and the full-length shutters gilding the french doors. This must be looking on the back side or the northern side of the house.

This is pretty much the layout I want to create for my house: build bookshelves and mock fireplace, L-shape couch and my door is where one of those windows is located-Great!
