Another pinner: We are Ranch snobs at our house....no bottled Ranch-yuck here! This is the BEST HOMEMADE RANCH!! This tastes exactly like the Hidden Valley Ranch Packets that you add mayo and milk to....but WITHOUT the MSG and at A FRACTION OF THE PRICE! If my kids cant tell the difference when they dipped their carrots...no one will! Delish!
Homemade tortillas are not only very easy and inexpensive to make (about $.25 for 10) they taste so much better than the store bought ones. This site has other mixes as well. Also, this site has recipes for other shortcuts for biscuits, scones, etc

Wash an old mascara or nail polish container and fill with: 1/4 of the container with Castor Oil, 1/2 Vitamin E Oil, 1/4 Aloe Vera Gel. Mix the concoction together as well as you can with your mascara wand, and apply a light layer to lashes (or brows) every night before bed. Castor oil thickens your lashes while aloe vera gel lengthens. Vitamin E accelerates length. Give it a month for results.
Keep this in mind if you start seeing lots of spiders around your place. Natural spider killer or preventer... take one cup of vingar, one cup of pepper, a teaspoon of oil and liquid soap. Put it into a spray bottle and spray along the outside of your outside door and along windows;
Another pinner said: "btw...my sister and i made this, figured it was worth a try...& by FAR the best laundry detergent EVER! only need a tablespoon per load (we just use the oxy scoop) and it smells so good! Needless to say, I will NEVER purchase another laundry detergent brand. This has inspired me to make more homemade cleaning products :) very exciting!" Laundry soap recipe - $20 for 9+ months' worth of soap.
