NOISE…removing one letter at a time when our voice level gets too loud. When NO is left, there is NO more talking! Love this! A lot more clearer than just putting up strikes on the board or letting the noise escalate to a point where you just cut off talking. It also gives the kids a chance to regain control of their noise before it gets to that point.

Mrs. Heeren's Happenings: freebie. I like this brownie points pan instead of using a compliment jar. She also has them pick from an envelope of mystery rewards when the pan is full.

Party Puffs, kind of like the bead or marble jar. Compliment jar, compliments from me i party puff, compliments from other teachers 2 party puffs, compliments from Mersedeh or Kristin, 10 party puffs. May ask Mersedeh to come in the first week and let her know about the system to get the kids on board.

The Lemonade Stand: "Is your class always this loud?"

Used Mr. Potato head as a whole group behavior incentive. When the class is caught being good or behaving appropriately as a whole, we allow a student to add a Potato Head body part. Once Mr. Potato Head is completely together, we have a celebration like a ice cream party. Parts can also go away.

FUN Hallway Behavior Management Idea. Before you leave the classroom pick a chip with a students name but don't tell who it is. They are the mystery walker and you are watching that student the entire time. If they do a good job in the hall, they get a ticket or prize.
