Evening Dress Made Of Silk, Made By Rouff - French c.1895 - The Metropolitan Museum Of Art

~A Maison Worth Cobalt Blue Silk Velvet and Gold Lace Gown, circa 1910, cobalt blue underdress with a peach velvet inset to the V-neckline, gold lace and net overlay, with a velvet cummerbund and silk flower embellishment at the bust, lightly boned, with a small weighted hem train. Labeled to waist: "C. Worth."~

Evening gown, J. Franken, Brooklyn, ca. 1910. Pale celery green silk with ivory lace & silver beading. Boned lining in ivory silk. Bodice is ivory lace with silver bullion embroidery, bugle beads, & tiny sequins. Green silk suspenders fall in pleats from shoulders to center front & back, with crewel embroidery. Beaded appliqué panels on unlined shoulders. Right shoulder has piped bow w/dangle ball fringe. Pleated cummerbund w/buckle in back. Skirt w/large pleats in front. Vintage Martini
