Backsplash for stove
How to do your own backsplash directions
We wanted a unique backsplash for our stove area and couldn't afford an advertising tin, so decided to use license plates...one from each state we have been in....although we still need one from Arizona and New Mexico
A brick backsplash in this kitchen sets a rustic tone, adding instant age and character to the newly remodeled and expanded space. The traditional material complements the timeless Absolute Black granite countertops as well as the custom cabinetry that shows off a gently distressed finish. The warm tones in the brick-and-wood island countertop contrast beautifully with cabinets painted a seaside-inspired blue.
Like the brick look, but would want simulated brick for easy cleaning--pot hangers near the stove might work well; nice way to display art in kitchen w/hood in btween so as to protect art from steam & splashes
