Motorcycles with hubless wheels may sound futuristic at the moment, but designers are striving to make "spoke-less bikes" a reality. Designer Alexander Kotlyarevsky has dreamed up a custom motorcycle that is spoke-less and presents a very neat and clean look. The new ‘Swordfish’ concept bike by this Italian designer serves up a curved body with a sleek design running on hub-less wheels. Pretty cool, but would it be practical?
Ferrari V4 superbike concept. Alfredo “Dino” Ferrari, the departed son of company founder Enzo, was said to have raced specially-prepared motorcycles in the 1950s. In the 1970s, Kay Engineering crafted a racing bike, now said to be worth half a million dollars, with full factory backing to honor Enzo Ferrari.

Peter Norris, who recently designed the Pininfarina Coupe Concept, has also been hard at work on this electric motorcycle concept called the Honda Chopper. The Star Wars-inspired design has an extra long front suspension, a feet-forward seating position, and in-wheel electric motors for super-efficient (and fast!) travel.
