Croissant french toast with strawberry syrup. Yummy! This was definitely a decadent delightful and delicious, and excessive on the calories and fat breakfast, but oh so yummy! I didn't do the strawberries and whip cream which would have been heavenly, however I did do some organic strawberry jam and is was soOOOO good! I cannot wait to do it with fresh strawberries and whipped cream!
Sweet Potato Biscuits 1 3/4 c flour 2 tbsp brown sugar 2 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp baking soda 6 tbsp chilled butter, in pieces 3/4 c sweet potato puree 1/3 c buttermilk Whisk together dry ingredients. Using a pastry cutter, cut in chilled butter, to coarse meal texture, with some pea size pieces. Combine sweet potato puree and buttermilk, then add to dry mixture, stir w/ fork, but don't over mix. Form into 8 biscuits. Preheat oven to 425F; bake for 20-25min.
