DIY Dryer Sheets | a lot of dryer sheets contain animal fat. It really doesn’t get much easier than this! Per load, use one coffee filter and 1/2 or 1 teaspoon of liquid softener (depending on the size of the load) and rub the liquid softener into the filter and throw into your dryer. Save money? Check. Tub Cleaner - vinegar and dish soap, no scrubbing! Heat 1/2C white vinegar in m'wave for 90 sec, pour int spray bottle. Add 1/2C BLUE Dawn dish soap. Shake gently to mix. Rather use this than candles: 1 apple 1 orange 1 lemon 2 T whole allspice 2 T whole cloves 4 cinnamon sticks Slice fruit into rings. Place all ingredients into a crock-pot or in a pot on the stove, fill with water. Simmer on low. Refill with water as needed. Set a timer to remember to check the water level.

Add orange peels (or any citrus peel) to a quart of white vinegar in a closed container and let it set for two weeks. Combine citrus/vinegar solution half/half with water and use for cleaning. Works on floors, tile, fixtures, etc. Smells good and is tough on scum! Best of all there are no chemicals.

Cleaning hard water stains, bath tubs and toliets. I just tried vinegar on my toilet & NO MORE toilet smells!! With it being Summer and lots of my sons friends over I had a tuff time getting rid of smells in the bathroom. I tried every product out there and they never really worked. This one worked the 1st time!! I never have heard of using vinegar!!! Try it!!

Vanilla Extract 101 - Clean the microwave and leave it smelling sweet with this household trick! Mix 2 cups of water and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract in a microwave-safe container, and zap it on high for five minutes. When it's done, remove the container and wipe down the interior of the oven. Any gunk should slide right off.
Clean the microwave with water and vanilla extract. Add a few drops of vanilla to a bowl of water and cook in the microwave for 5 minutes. The steam will make the microwave walls SO easy to clean and your kitchen will smell great!-more ideas too
