I couldn't have said it better myself. Education is about so much more than just memorizing facts and data and taking a test. It is about learning about the world and what life is really about. Teachers need to take their students to the margins and really push the envelope to see how far their students are willing to reach.
I keep DVD/projector directions in my sub binder. Those things can be tricky!

FREE Setting Expectations for Group Work Activity~ This idea is a great first project for group work of any kind. Students attach strings to a rubber band which is then used to manipulate Solo cups from one configuration to another. Students soon learn the importance of cooperation. Love the hands-on aspect and simplicity of the idea!
