This is a unique book with a "flashlight" on every page. It is actually a white paper in the shape of a flashlight beam which you can move around, which allows you to see the nocturnal animals in their habitat. The animals are printed on a see-through plastic, and lay on top of a dark background; as you pass the white "beam" under the plastic, you can see the pictures. Neat effect!
