Link to Letter Recognition Worksheets - Color the boxes next to the letters with the appropriate color. The child then must find each letter and color it the appropriate color. (PreK-Kindergarten)

Use this activity with your students to reinforce the initial letter of their name. You may like to have the students paint their letter using different colours to practise correct letter formation, or alternatively they could collage their letter. This is also a great task to assess your students name writing ability at the start of the year.

Write child's name using a different color for each letter. The children will have to sort the fruit loops by color and then glue them onto the matching color letter of their name.

To have them start I have them find the first letter of their own names- hands on heads, eyes on me.Music starts, they dance.Music stops, hold up letter. They find the match.
