I'm doing a variation of this. I'll have the pictures to match to numbers, but the numbers are inside of empty oatmeal canisters (6 of them) in a box (to contain them so they don't fall over like bowling pins). Then I'll have a kid toss a ball into one of the canisters. They'll take the number out of the canister they chose and they'll try to match that number to the picture.
