Experiments for Kids--Science Fun!
Kids are natural scientists and love to experiment. These easy experiments are fun for kids to learn all about the world around them. These science projects are great for home, school, or even science fairs. Experiment! Have fun! Play! (P.S. I have more activities like these on my website: www.itsallkidsplay.ca) Enjoy!
Homemade pet jelly fish. that's about the neatest thing EVER. I did this with my 3rd, 4th and 5th grade class. Told them to bring in a bottle and a bag. Some of the kids brought it in and the rest of the kids thought it was dumb. After we did this project, the kids who thought it was dumb, didn't think so anymore. Kids who made them, named them and love them at home now.
Make your own jellyfish in a bottle.
Elementary Electricity: Here's What You Need: a plastic comb, a piece of wool fabric (other materials work, too), a teaspoon of salt, a teaspoon of ground black pepper, and a spoon. Or a balloon. ;) #play #experiments #science #kids
Cub Scout recycling idea on how to make balance scales. Fun idea! We just used what we had handy, but there must be a bazillion different ways to make a simple device that you can compare the weight of two things with. The little red coffee stirrer with the styrofoam arrow made it easier for the kids to see which was heavier when it was a close call between the two weights.

Make your own terrarium with kids. It's easy and fun. To make your new environment funky and fun, add plastic animals. We went with an underwater theme as we used a fish bowl to make our terrarium. #science #environment #terrarium #kids #plants #children #play #kids #science #freeplay

Flubber is fun to play with...but it's even more fun watching it ooze out of a basket. As it oozes out...give the kids a pair of children safe scissors so they can cut it. Tons of fun! Love it! #flubber #science #experiments #sciencekids #kids #children #play
