DIY flag shirt - to leave areas white use beeswax and use a cold water dye so that the wax will not melt, remove the wax by placing it between layers of paper towels and ironing. Replace the towels frequently and eventually enough of the wax will come out so that you can remove the rest in the washing machine
Use glue, salt, and watercolor. The glue makes the colors rise from the paper and the salt creates a 'starburst' look.
Looks like I need a sewing machine...
a wreath + a bag of plastic eggs + a hot glue gun + a ribbon (to make the bow) + a Sunday afternoon = Easter Wreath
writing on a lamp shade with a Sharpie (great way to personalize with your favorite song lyrics / wedding vows, you name it!)
Cool wall hangings - paint canvas multiple colors, then mask, and paint white.
good directions on how to. Mine did not turn out this pretty - might be because I used an embossing gun which melts the crayons fast! I also have left the crayons out in the Texas summer sun and they melt well - I actually like the affect of chopped of crayons on canvas just sitting in the sun. Dragon created her own design and we let it melt - looks cool!
