A wooden-framed box. Is covered with burgundy faux-leather and decorated with rich silver mounts and corners. It hinges open to reveal a two-layered interior containing a number of sewing and handwork tools and accessories along with various canvas and linen needlework and alphabet samplers in various stages of completion. Excellent condition. French,circa 1890.
