Use boiling water and two teabags to clean hardwood floors. The tannic acid in tea creates a beautiful shine. Let two teabags steep in the boiling water for a few minutes. Pour the tea into a bucket. Take a soft cloth and wring it out in the tea. The cloth merely needs to be damp, not soaked. This will enable the floor to dry quickly. Wash the floor and be ready to be amazed by the sheen... and no sticky or oily residue! So cool, must try!

Pour 1/2 cup baking soda and then 1/2 cup of vinegar. Cover up the drain during the crazy chemical reaction. Wait 15 mins and pour a pot of boiling water. It totally clears up the clogged drain caused by my long hair and it's easier on the pipes than Drano. Works every time!!
Pinner: Homemade Citrus Cleaner ~ Add orange peels (or any citrus peel) to a quart of white vinegar in a closed container and let it set for two weeks. Combine citrus/vinegar solution half/half with water and use for cleaning. Works on floors, tiles, fixtures, kitchen & bath etc. Smells good and is tough on scum! Best of all there are no chemicals. ♥
dishwasher soap - Baking Soda (frugal favorite!) Borax (all-natural household cleaner, available at many stores in the laundry aisle) Mix together equal parts of each ingredient, store in a labeled container Use just like a commercial powdered detergent, approximately 2 TBS per load. That’s it! Each load will cost you mere pennies. (also use vinegar in the jetdry well instead of the expensive stuff)
"How to Clean Pillows. Good to know! I do this every other month, but I also wash my pillows on the hottest setting with a cup of bleach. Always does the trick. This way, you don't have to do the "smell" check! I also like my pillows to smell fresh, so I add fabric softener to the washer and dry with a sheet. Also helps get rid of static in your hair on those dry winter months!"
